Are there Accessible Seats in Freedom Hall:
There are sections in Freedom Hall where seats have been removed and the vacant slots are available for those confined to a wheelchair. If you are confined to a wheelchair, it is best to place your order by calling 800-846-8499 and specify with the agent that you are wheelchair confined. They can let you know if any of those slots are available for the date you are wanting to attend.
Are there Elevators in Freedom Hall:
There are elevators in Freedom Hall that will take you to the balcony sections of seats.
Can I use a Mobility Assisted Device:
Scooters and mobility assisted devices may be used in Freedom Hall, and the concourses are very wide so that they can be easily maneuvered. There is a special area in the corners of Freedom Hall on the first and second level where the devices can be parked while you are in your seat.
How Can I Secure Good Seats:
The NQC begins selling seats a year in advance. While attending the NQC, you can purchase seats for the following year at our registration area in North Wing lobby. If you are a season pass holder, you can also submit a waiting list request for upgrading your seats. If any better seats become available throughout the year, you will be contacted about upgrading to those seats.
Do I Have to Buy Passes for Every Showcase:
All of the showcases are general admission and are sold as daily passes. Therefore, you purchase one pass which will get you into all of the daytime activities for that day. Discounts are available for purchasing multiple days. The evening concerts are reserved seats and admission is completely separate from the daytime showcases.
How Can I Get into the Exhibit Hall:
The exhibit hall is open to everyone who purchases an evening concert seat for that particular day. The exhibit hall opens following the conclusion of the daytime events. Daytime admission will not gain you access into the exhibit hall. You must have evening seats to gain admission into the exhibit hall.
What are the Dates:
The NQC always begins on the Sunday following Labor Day and lasts through the following Saturday.
Are all Events held at the Kentucky Expo Center:
Yes. All events are held at the Kentucky Expo Center at 937 Phillips Lane in Louisville, Kentucky. This is immediately across from the airport at the junction of I-65 and I-264 (Watterson Expressway) on the south side of Louisville.
What are the details related to Parking:
KEC has an abundance of grade level parking surrounding the facility. The cost for parking is $8.00. You may purchase daily parking passes upon arrival in North Wing Lobby, across from our show office location. These passes can not be purchased in advance, only upon arrival. There are ample accessible spaces reserved for those with accessible credentials on their vehicle.
Can I bring my RV:
There are camp sites available for RV camping. Full service sites typically sell out a year in advance so you will want to secure those at the event for the following year. There is an abundance of dry camping available for those with self contained units. You can call 502-367-5000 and ask for the campground to ask questions and to inquire about rates. You can view other campgrounds in the area by going to www.gotolouisville.com and clicking on “Campgrounds.”
Is there Shuttle Service:
The NQC does offer shuttle service to the Galt House hotel downtown and to several hotels in the East hotel corridor. You can purchase shuttle passes online which are good for unlimited use all week.
Can I Buy a Program Guides in Advance:
The Program Guides are available upon arrival. However, the complete schedule is posted to our website under the various schedule sections. There you will find alphabetical listings of all the artists on each program. The specific performance times will be listed in the Program Guide.
What do your Vacation Packages Include:
Our vacation packages are all inclusive packages that include seats to all NQC activities, lodging at the designated hotel, hot breakfast for each morning of your stay and seats to various area attractions. The primary hotels are the Galt House Hotel for the downtown packages and the Marriott Courtyard East for the East End Packages. None of the walking distance hotels are available with the vacation packages. Shuttle passes are not included; however, there is shuttle service to all of the vacation package hotels. You can buy those passes separately.
Is the Pricing per Person or per Couple:
All of the prices listed for the vacation packages are per couple and include one room and passes to all NQC activities and area attractions for two people.
Is there Shuttle Service to the Attractions:
There is not shuttle service available to any of the area attractions. You will need to secure your own transportation to those attractions.
Is Better Seating Available to Those Who Buy Vacation Packages:
We do not reserve special sections for Vacation Package customers. We book the best seats we have available at the time we receive your order for the package.
